Woodworkers with the finest reputations and media recognition usually concentrate on creating furniture.
Henderson, NV: This blanket chest was created for my wife, Vickie. Designed in 1984, and completed  in 1990, the natural cherry panels contrast well with the hard maple frame. The finish is natural Watco Danish Oil Finish and Satin Finishing Wax as the final top coat. 19"H x 37¼"L x 22"W.  It is an adaptation of a design that appeared in a magazine in the early '80s. 	San Jose, CA: This walnut form now supports a ¾" thick glass top and serves as an end table in the owner's spacious living room. Watco Danish Oil Finish and Satin Finishing Wax. The vertical "legs" measure 20" with the horizontal stringers are 29".
Morgan Hill, CA: This 9'-6" breakfront, even though built-in, is truly a piece of furniture. All glass and mirror panels are ¾" bevel. Red oak solids and veneers are rift-sawn, revealing the rays that are so prominent with this specie. Finish is clear Minwax Antique Oil Finish. The columns to each side of the drawer banks open to reveal narrow dovetailed drawers.  The owner stores candles and other small dining room objects for handy access.  The silverware storage is lined with cloth that reduces the amount of tarnish over a given time span.
	Carmel Valley, CA: This rosewood box was created to protect the antique medical instruments for the dealer's eastern client. The quadrant hinges are mortised in position and have a 100° stop to support the open lid. Its inside dimensions are 15" x 18" x 5".
