Cabinetmaking
|
"Thank you for my beautiful
kitchen cabinets. I have
had the pleasure of living and working with them for three years, and
they are the greatest.
|
| Drawers instead of shelving makes all of
the space under the counter accessible. My largest pots and heaviest pans are easily reached from the
lowest drawers. The over head stand-up racks put cookie sheets, pizza
pans and broiler rack at my finger tips with no un-stacking and
restacking problem solving required.
The pantry's lazy susan lets me easily see what is on hand.
I’m no longer down on my knees trying to see if that out-dated
can of baking powder is still there. |

Two of my favorite features are the extra
wide gadget and spice drawers! If
I can’t find the gizmo, or spice, in their drawer-it’s gone!
Only one drawer is required for each, so if it is not there,
there is no where else to look. I still lose things, but I don’t search in four different
places to come to the conclusion that it is gone. |

The frosting on this great cake is that
the cabinets are as beautiful as they are functional. We have had many
compliments on the finish and design. As you well know, guests always
gravitate to the kitchen, and since ours is now so warm and attractive,
it's always fun to have friends and family share it with us."

"We sorely miss the beautiful kitchen
that you designed and built for us in San Jose. It was also very functional, especially the 'pots
& pans' drawers...."

"The library that Chuck designed for us is the most talked about
room in our home. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail is most
evident. Chuck is easy to work with. He communicates well and has projects
done in a timely manner. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to
anyone."

Modern Cabinetmaking
I always wanted to build my kitchen cabinets with a radius. (re.
Chapter 34) I worked
for a guy about 10 years ago who did it but he purchased plywood already
bent. I started to read your book from the first page and intend on
reading the whole thing. The amount of information and area covered are
truly unbelievable Thank you for the reply and the great text. I think
that any one with this skill should pass on the knowledge, you have done
so in a great book . Sincerely Anthony DeTomaso |

"About your website... I just spent a very enjoyable hour there poking around
and I must admit it's very impressive. Often sites built with FrontPage heavy
with JavaScript cause problems with my Mac browser but yours worked just fine.
Concerning the content - all I can say is WOW!!! You have certainly been busy.
Just between you and me, I sometimes fancy myself as the hardest-working
woodworker on the Web. It's humbling to see, it just ain't so...;
thanks again,"

"Without your constant assistance, this
Directory would never have been published. You donated countless hours
of time and provided a very thorough database which you developed
and fine tuned over the years. Additionally, you compiled the community
editorial and even provided sales support so that the project could get
funded."

I just wanted to pass on a thank you for the
new directory. We picked up one the other night at US video. Very nice
layout and useful information. It shows that a lot of work went into it,
and it is a positive reflection of the region.
Take care, and good luck with your other ventures.
